Financial Literacy for All

A movement towards creating a financially intelligent India
A Lamcon initiative

For over thirty years Lamcon has provided financial education to corporate houses within India and internationally.

While this has been very successful, we realize that in order to have a more meaningful impact, it is important that India, as a nation, is more financially literate.

It is our belief that for India to continue its phenomenal growth it is important that each and every individual in this country is financially literate. Financial illiteracy could become the one stumbling block in India’s growth story.

While large corporations recognise the importance of educating their employees and invest their time and money in doing so, the small entrepreneurs and individuals often do not. This is either on account of the costs involved or because they may not have realised its importance.

In order to make this segment financially intelligent, Lamcon has launched a ‘Financial Literacy for All’ campaign, an ambitious effort to spread financial literacy across a billion Indians free of cost.

Bridging the gap

Impacting 6 Target Segments

We have divided the target audience into 6 broad categories

Non-managerial cadre employees and workers within corporations

School children

Small businessmen/traders and professionals

NGOs

Other low income earners like slum dwellers, house maids, vegetable vendors et al.

Housewives

    Action & Approach

    To achieve our objective:

    Free Seminars

Regular free seminars on finance management will be held for those who cannot afford to educate themselves.
